Questions We Get a Lot

The best gym flooring depends on your workouts, equipment, and available space. Rubber gym tiles are ideal for weightlifting areas, strength training, and general workout spaces because they provide a durable, protective surface. Gym turf is a great option for sled pushes, agility drills, functional training, and conditioning exercises. Choose the flooring that best supports your training style and equipment.

Most rubber gym tiles and gym turf can be installed directly over suitable concrete surfaces. The concrete should generally be clean, dry, level, and free of significant cracks or other issues that could affect installation. Check the product's installation requirements and moisture recommendations before laying flooring over a concrete slab.

Not necessarily. Some interlocking rubber tiles can be installed as a floating floor without adhesive, while other products or applications may require adhesive or another approved installation method. The right approach depends on the tile design, subfloor, room conditions, and intended use. Follow the product's installation guidelines.

Measure the length and width of your workout area and multiply them to calculate the total square footage. Then compare that measurement with the coverage provided by each package of tiles or turf. For irregular spaces, measure each section separately and add the areas together. Ordering a little extra material can help account for cuts, edges, and installation waste.
